BVEP appoints Davies Tanner

The Business Visits and Events Partnership (BVEP) has appointed Davies Tanner as a strategic partner to manage the umbrella association's communications strategy and public relations activity.

The BVEP represents over 40 individual trade bodies involved with the UK events industry and channels their views to Government, influencers and opinion leaders. A key part of the communications strategy will be to create a plan which engages with the expected new intake of MP’s following the forthcoming general election. An event has already been planned at the House of Commons in October where the BVEP and other industry representatives will meet with MP’s from business tourism focused constituencies with a view to highlighting the importance of the industry to the UK economy.

As part of our role, Davies Tanner Managing Director, Robert Wright, will sit on the BVEP board as an advisor.
