Meetings & Events Manifesto Launch

Davies Tanner is busily preparing the launch of the Business Visits & Events Partnerships (BVEP) Manifesto launch on the 15th June at De Vere Venues, Holborn Bars in London.

Created by a dedicated Government Affairs Group in consultation with all major UK industry trade associations and professional bodies, this will be the first Meetings & Events Manifesto for Britain. The 12-page document sets out 10 reasons why Meetings & Events are important to Britain, key features on all sectors of the meetings and events industry and its Manifesto Objective; which is ‘To make Britain the natural destination choice and an international hub for all sectors of the events industry.’

We are also pleased to announce that our client ICC ExCeL London has been announced as the official Sponsor & Supporter of the 12-page document.

The Manifesto document will be presented again at the House of Commons on 20th October, during National Meetings Week, where all new MP’s are invited to attend a reception and presentation on the sector.
