Coordinated by the Business Visits & Events Partnership, and supported by a range of venues and destinations, Britain for Events is sponsored by International Confex and endorsed by the Minister of Tourism, John Penrose MP.

Britain for Events runs from September 2011 – March 2012, and Davies Tanner is once again responsible for managing the campaign, including media and stakeholder relations, corporate communications and Government liaison.

During 2010, over £750,000 of media coverage was generated for campaign supporters and partners, and over 20 individual events were held.

With the current campaign taking place in the year of the London Olympic and Paralympic Games, and culminating in a week long series of events during International Confex 2012, Britain for Events is set to be the biggest and most influential campaign to date.
