Welcome to Davies Tanner’s summer 2010 newsletter and what a difference three months can make. With a new Government in place, a cloud of ash that has caused chaos in our industry and a World Cup bid well in motion there has been plenty of news to keep us occupied.

And life at Davies Tanner has been just as busy as we celebrated our new ranking in the PR Week Top 150, announced National Meetings Week 2010 in conjunction with the Business Visits and Events Partnership (BVEP), celebrated new business wins and welcomed two new additions to the Davies Tanner Scotland team.

Sadly we also learned the news that our friend, client and industry visionary Vanessa Cotton tragically passed away. A true pioneer of the meetings and events industry she leaves a lasting legacy that brought about positive change and assisted in the continued growth and reputation of the meetings industry. In admiration of all that she achieved, we would like to dedicate this newsletter to her memory.
